After working as a Radio DJ for 15 years with celebrities like Ben Stiller, Jodie Foster and Hugh Jackman, Mr Lyons now spends most of his time [podcast consulting to businesses and individuals.

“A podcast is basically an online radio show that allows businesses to talk about their business and attract new leads, prospects or readers”, Mr Lyons says.

He believes that podcasting not only brings traffic, but also authority to any business, “when you talk behind a microphone, the perception is that you are the market leader. This helps considerably with conversions and reputation”.

In a world where the majority of business owners are obsessed with getting to the top of Google, Mr Lyons says there’s an enormous opportunity for significant exposure with a podcast. “There is considerably less competition in iTunes and Apple’s new podcast app, than Google. So it´s easier to get attention, traction and exposure, resulting in plenty of targeted traffic to help boost your business”.

The Podcast Like A Radio DJ course teaches any business owner how to publish their own podcast in Apple’s new app and global iTunes store. And Mr Lyons says the results can be incredible, “When my first podcast was featured in iTunes I was getting 350 new listeners a day. These kinds of numbers out-stripped all of my SEO and social media efforts. It was amazing”.

Golf expert Cameron Strachan also had impressive results using the Podcast Like A Radio DJ method, “Dan´s advice helped my podcast race to the top of the iTunes charts. As a result I had 100 new people every day listening to my podcast and finding out about my business”.

It´s not surprising that podcasts are becoming more popular, with a 2012 Edison Research and Arbitron survey revealing that one in five smart phone owners are podcast listeners.

The survey also revealed that one in six Americans have consumed a podcast in the last month.

“With the type of traffic that´s going through Apple’s new podcast app and iTunes, business owners are crazy not to have their brand or business represented. The fact is [podcasting for business works”, says Mr Lyons.

And he says he can teach people how to podcast easily and quickly, “Podcast Like A Radio DJ is a course that any business owner can take and get results. I´ve taught bloggers, internet marketers and off line businesses how to podcast, and I´ve seen some incredible outcomes in terms of traffic”.
