Leading Social Media Agency Ingenex Digital Marketing was able to boost the profile of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors´ presentation at the 2012 LIGHTFAIR International by creating an engaging character for web audiences to interact with. @LisaAtLightfair encouraged positive conversation with LIGHTFAIR attendees.

When Social Media Agency Ingenex wanted to boost the presence of their client OSRAM Opto Semiconductors at LIGHTFAIR International, they created Lisa At Lightfair, a personable character for audiences to interact with online. LIGHTFAIR International is one of the lighting industry´s most important annual trade shows, and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors wanted to engage customers and create buzz around their products.

Lisa At Lightfair dominated social media, earned a top SEO ranking, and generated high levels of traffic for the OSRAM booth.

Ingenex created the @LisaAtLightfair Twitter account to promote the contortionist’s performances at the OSRAM booth and as the primary means of interacting with web audiences. Tweets started five weeks before LIGHTFAIR, and aimed to build audience anticipation for the performances promoting the OLSON Square. The tweets continued throughout LIGHTFAIR, promoting not only Lisa´s contortionist act but also OSRAM Opto Semiconductors´ product and different events at the fair. Creating connections through @replies to other Twitter users at LIGHTFAIR raised the profile of @LisaAtLightfair and created buzz around her performances.

The @LisaAtLightfair Twitter account was also highly integrated with Instagram, Foursquare and Storify. Lisa shared photos from Instagram, and used Foursquare to connect with the web audience based on location, all while creating a compelling narrative of her adventures using Storify.
