Give as you Live, British Fundraising/Shopping Site, Chooses Kognitio To Measure Sales, Improve Contributions To Charities
EVESHAM, England, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Everyclick, which has raised £2.7 million for charities throughout the United Kingdom, today announced it has selected Kognitio Cloud to help generate greater contributions to its member charities by maximizing online sales at some of the country’s most prominent retailers.
Everyclick is the fundraising technology company behind “Give as you Live,” which provides a way for online shoppers to raise money for charity. Connected to all 220,000 UK registered charities, Give as you Live can unlock the “hidden millions” for deserving UK causes by taking advantage of an existing revenue model and redirecting these funds to charity. Retailers who take part in “Give as you Live” agree to donate a percentage of their online sales to charities of the shopper’s choice at no additional cost to the consumer. Companies like John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Ted Baker London, iTunes, The Body Shop and more have signed up; money raised has gone to national charities like Macmillian, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Starlight Children’s Foundation, as well as thousands of locally-based charities.
