Following the company’s latest release of the iElect(TM) political matching engine, iShapePolicy has expanded its data, search and match functionality to include the governor elections in Utah, Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, North Dakota and Montana.

Earlier this year, iShapePolicy launched iElect(TM), a voting application designed to enlighten citizens in finding their ideal candidate – regardless of political party. After its initial coverage of the 2012 Presidential Election, iShapePolicy is driving political awareness beyond the federal level and is now providing members with the ability to find compatible matches for candidates running for governor in state elections.

Bob Harrison, iShapePolicy Co-Founder, believes that despite living in a world of instant search and social networking many people still struggle to find relevant political information;

“Traditionally, this information has been difficult for many voters to come across, with many citizens still making calls to their local election offices to become better informed. iShapePolicy’s goal is to create a centralized point of relevant information for its members and a voting tool that spans federal, state, county, town and even international elections.”

Bob goes on to say that the ambition of iShapePolicy has always been to ‘raise political awareness’ and to ‘enrich users who visit iShapePolicy with a meaningful and fun experience’.

After completion of the remaining scheduled state primaries, iShapePolicy will incorporate the additional gubernatorial elections occurring this November into the iElect(TM) platform which will include Missouri, Washington, Vermont, Delaware and New Hampshire.

“iShapePolicy provides a much needed resource to all who care about the condition of our democracy. By providing current, clear and non-partisan information concerning candidates to the nation’s voters, iShapePolicy delivers a valuable service that ultimately and undoubtedly will result in a more perfect union,” Dr. Michael C. Illuzzi, Research

At the center of iShapePolicy’s mission to add transparency for citizens in the election process is their iElect(TM) application which provides members with their “best matched” candidate. Pre-conceived notions of candidates, promoted by various sources, are put aside and citizens are given the opportunity to arrive at a conclusion based on their own definition of the key issues and their views.
