Premium Verizon wireless retailer opens new location, increases customer confidence

Lafayette, La. (PRWEB) August 08, 2012

Cellular Sales, the nation´s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer, recently announced the grand opening of a new store at 121 St. Nazaire Rd. in Broussard.

“The heart of what we do at Cellular Sales is finding our customers´ wants and needs so we can find the best solution for that customer,” said Alec Rankine, regional director at Cellular Sales.

Cellular Sales was founded in Knoxville, Tenn. 19 years ago and has, for the past four years, been named by Inc. Magazine one of the nation´s fastest growing privately-owned retailers, operating more than 530 stores with nearly 4,000 employees. The company currently operates 10 retail locations in the state of Louisiana.

According to Nielsen reports, more than 46 percent of Americans own smartphones. As mobile devices become more complex, educating each individual about different devices and capabilities becomes more important. This is the reason Cellular Sales has dedicated itself to providing one-on-one service for customers, so they can receive that one-on-one education.

The Broussard store is currently hiring seven new sales positions, which will be filled by local job seekers.

“Many people buy phones from big box retailers, not knowing there is a different wireless experience to be had, but no one in the industry is placing the importance on customer care and education like Cellular Sales,” Rankine said.
