(NASDAQ:NTAP) announced on August 15 that in 2013 fiscal quarter ended July 27, its revenue came in as the company had expected at US$1.45 billion, about the same as last year’s report of US$1.46 billion in the same period last year. In the first fiscal quarter of 2013, GAAP net income was US$64 million (or US$0.17 per share), compared to last year’s report of income of US$140 million (or US$0.34 per share). Non-GAAP net income also came in as the company expected, at US$156 million. “NetApp produced non-GAAP earnings per share above and revenue in line with our prior guidance. In Q1, we announced further innovations in Data ONTAP 8.1 that will enable customers to achieve an agile data infrastructure environment to cope with their dynamic business requirements,” said president Tom Georgens. “We continue to deliver on multiple fronts, advancing our technology and partnerships.” However, company officials are still reporting insider trades with the SEC. Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDIX): Shares of Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDIX) dumped US$2.47 (or -29.72%) to US$5.84 on hefty volume of 19.17 million shares, which was 11 times more than usual.
