Logitech´s newest keyboard may at long last offer a solution to spills of drinks, snacks and other messes that inadvertently happen as we surf the Web.

The white-keyed, spill-proof Logitech K310 is a washable keyboard designed to withstand the rigors of even the messiest of users. While not dishwasher safe, the $39 full-sized keyboard can be submerged in up to 11 inches of water, and can be hand washed with soap and water.

The back of the K310 has holes for draining off liquid and for air-drying.  The keyboard is also dust resistant, and comes with an attached brush that easily sweeps off crumbs and dust.

The durability is outstanding, with each key rated to last up to five million keystrokes. The two-toned black and white keyboard has individual keys laser printed and UV coated to prevent fading and keep the white keys looking good as new.

Silicone dome switches provide waterproof key mechanisms, while the keyboard´s low-profile design and floating keycaps keeps the unit slim while providing a pleasurable typing experience.

The keyboard, which includes a numeric pad, F-keys and 12 hotkeys, is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP, and does not require any special software.

The Logitech K310 is available now for pre-order at Logitech.com, and includes a three-year warranty.
