Summit to Prevent Domestic and Sexual Violence: It’s Everyone’s Business
FARGO, N.D., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center will host a community event entitled, “It’s Everyone’s Business: Summit to Prevent Domestic and Sexual Violence” on Sept. 18 at the Ramada Plaza and Suites and Conference Center in Fargo. The event is sponsored by the Verizon Foundation with support from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, United Way Cass Clay and Deek’s Pizza in Fargo.
The Summit is designed as a one-day think tank to unite leaders from the local community to design actions in preventing domestic and sexual violence in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Cordelia Anderson and Chuck Deery will serve as presenters and facilitators.

The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center of Fargo-Moorhead was founded in 1977 and serves women, men, children and adolescents who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence.
