Luke Weil Named to Editorial Board of the Economic News Journal

Business and economy news site Economic News Journal adds Luke Weil to its editorial board, citing his experience in the business sector as a valuable contribution to the site´s voice.

Economic News Journal announced today that Luke Weil has been appointed the newest member of its editorial board. Weil and his ventures have been featured numerous times on the site, and he joins the site on the other side of publication to lend his unique perspective on current business news. Economic News Journal would like to highlight his contributions to the site and thank him for his insights.

Luke Weil is a graduate of Brown University. Upon receiving his B.A. degree in 2002, he became an analyst at Bear Stearns Companies. He moved on to work at consulting firm Business Strategies & Insight, Inc. In 2006, Weil returned to school at Columbia Business School, graduating with his MBA in 2008. He currently works as Vice President of International Business Development in Latin America for Scientific Games Corporation.

Economic News Journal has selected Weil as a member of its editorial board based on his experience as a member of various corporations and an active investor. The periodical has also cited his work outside of his professional endeavors. Weil engages in philanthropy as a member of the board of directors for The Fortune Society, who recently held their Second Annual Spring Gala this past May.

Weil will join the other editors of the site in regulating the voice and viewpoint of the Economic News Journal, overseeing the site´s curators in their selection of articles from around the web and other periodicals.
