DOVER, N.J., Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — For 15-years, G-Shock and world-renowned graphic artist Eric Haze, have collaborated on countless projects including four highly coveted watches. Previously commissioned to design G-Shock’s 25th Anniversary logo, Eric had the distinct privilege to do so once again for the 30(th) Anniversary. The logo is engraved on the case back of the GA110EH-8A commemorative watch. Reinvigorating colors from previous Haze models, the 30(th) Anniversary watch has an iridescent gray finish with red accents, allowing his signature star icon logo to pop off of the watchband. The multi-colored design treatment continues on the dial with elements of red, black and white, enhancing the distinct 3-dimensional effect of the layered dial.

“This collaboration speaks highly of the modern marriage of design and product, which treats premium collectable accessories as part of everyday fashion and iconography,” said Eric Haze. “The 30th Anniversary marks a quantum leap for Casio since the 25th Anniversary five years ago, with G-Shock’s ever-growing impact on the watch design and fashion worlds. My projects with G-Shock over the years have played a big part in my own history too, so this celebration has special meaning for me personally and professionally.”

“Eric Haze has been an important figure in our brand’s history and we respect his talent immensely,” said Shigenori Itoh, CEO of Casio America. “His artistry and aesthetic are aligned with our vision and brand identity. We could not imagine another artist designing our anniversary logos that mark such significant achievements.”

The GA110EH-8A stays true to the superior G-Shock toughness including shock and magnetic resistance, 200M water resistance, auto LED light, world time (29TZ/48Citites+UTC), 4 daily alarms with 1 snooze, 1/1000(th) second stopwatch (100hr.) with speed indicator , countdown timer, and 12/24 hour formats.

The GA110EH-8A comes in special commemorative packaging and will be available in October 2012 for $150 at Macy’s, Independent Jewelers, fashion boutiques, and www.gshock.com.
