Amid Bleak August Job Growth, Headhunter is Recruiting for Several High-paying Executive Positions

ProHR seeks people with experience in advertising, public relations, marketing, Web design, sales and other industries to lead new companies.

Salt lake City (PRWEB) September 25, 2012

Earlier this month, ADP released its August National Employment Report, and the results were grim. The report showed job creation averaged 139,000, down from 159,000 in August 2011. While the jobs report estimated that 40 percent of the positions created were low paying, officials at Utah-based proHR say they are currently conducting an executive job search for people to lead a variety of new marketing and technology companies.

“While job growth has fallen and hiring is slow on a national scale, that´s not the case for us,” said Jeff Lamb, president of proHR, a human resources management firm. “We´re hiring more than ever, it´s just finding the right people for the job that´s the challenge.”

ProHr has high-paying opportunities for those with experience in Web design and development, public relations, sales, marketing, advertising, social media, telecommunications and other industries.

“The executive positions we are recruiting for are not only high paying but have lucrative stock options and personal ownership,” Lamb said.

Though fewer jobs were created last month than the same time a year ago, the national unemployment rate dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent. This has been attributed to younger people dropping out of the labor force.

“Now is an excellent time for people seeking executive positions to start looking for them,” Lamb said. “We´re looking for experienced individuals to run companies in the marketing and technology sectors,”

ProHR´s struggle to find qualified applicants surprises Curtis Stewart, a public information officer with the Utah Department of Workforce Services.

“The business and technology sectors are growing; a lot of people have those skills. It´s hard to figure out why they aren´t getting applicants for these jobs,” Stewart said.

The number of professional and technical service jobs increased by 27,000 in August.

ProHR is currently seeking executives to lead PRMarketing.com, SellingForce, SocialInteractive.com and several other companies. Please visit http://www.prohr.com/executives for a complete list of career opportunities.

ADP´s recent report noted that only about 64 percent of the working-age population is employed or looking for work, a 30-year low.

“The job market is so dynamic and in flux right now. People who are getting the jobs are usually people who aren´t unemployed for long. It´s the people who are unemployed for longer who have a hard time getting jobs,” said Stewart.

According to Lamb, “given the state of the economy, people think it´s amazing we´re even hiring for these high-profile positions,” said Lamb. “Let alone the fact that we haven´t found anybody to fill them yet.”
