Choice Solutions Hosts Assessment Interoperability Framework October Meeting

Choice Solutions is proudly hosting October´s Assessment Interoperability Framework (AIF) meeting in Boston Massachusetts. This monthly gathering of national education organizations is focused on creating a cohesive group of assessment data standards and the associated rules for how data will move between the related systems that support assessment delivery/analysis within our nation´s education system. Driving the assessment component of the day´s discussions will be the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) and the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). Representing data movement and interoperability with be both the SIF Association (SIFA) and IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMSGLC). With leaders that serve as the Chair of the SIFA Technical Board and more than a decade of experience in managing education data at the national, state and district levels, Choice will bring a wealth of education information interoperability expertise to the table. Other key organizations supporting these efforts to develop the AIF include the Gates Foundation, USED Office of Technology, and several leaders from the nation´s most prominent assessment publishers.
