Otixo’s Increased User Numbers Spur 50% Price Reduction

October 5, 2012

Cloud storage aggregator Otixo.com has lowered the price on its unlimited Business account to $4.99. 2 GB account remains free.

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) October 05, 2012

Cloud service aggregator Otixo.com has lowered the monthly price charged for the Otixo Business account from $9.99 to $4.99. The Business account provides users with unlimited bandwidth, while the Free account caps bandwidth at 2 GB.

Tim Rohde, Chief Marketing Officer at Otixo, cites increased user numbers as the reason for the price reduction. “At this stage in the company our cost efficiency is increasing as the system grows. Now we´re able to pass that savings on to our users by cutting the price in half.”

Otixo aggregates cloud storage into a single application, with the goal of making personal file management and group collaboration easier. From a single login, users can search for files, preview documents, and move files between services. When collaborating, each Otixo user keeps files in their own clouds (no matter which service) so that they can use their preferred online tools. Access to local drives, tablets (including the iPad) and smart phones are available through Otixo´s WebDAV integration.

Otixo currently provides full file managment from a growing list of storage providers, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft SkyDrive, Box, SugarSync, Picasa, Amazon S3, FilesAnywhere and CX.com. Integration with personal FTP and WebDAV servers is also available.

User Greg Wallis had this to say via Twitter, “Good news for cloud storage: the excellent @otixo has halved the pricing for unlimited bandwidth transfers. NOW it makes sense.”

Look for news about project management, workflow and collaboration integrations in the near future!
