Jabberbox Designs launches new design for Jawbox carrying case

Fort Wayne, Indiana (PRWEB) October 10, 2012

Jabberbox Designs, the maker of high-end Bluetooth® carrying cases has announced the launch of a new design for the Jawbox, which protects Jawbone® headsets.

The original Jabberbox Designs Jawbox launched in October 2011. It is an injected, molded, ABS carrying case with a spring and ball bearing opening and closing mechanism for the lid. To keep up with technological advancements, the company´s new design will include a smaller case with the same shape, work on the hinge detail of the lid, and also will feature aluminum instead of ABS.

“We like the overall design and shape of the case, and are excited with the new prototype due to the smaller size and reduction in the amount of materials used,” said Chad Hankee, co-founder of Jabberbox Designs. “The current model of the Jawbox is practical, but we knew we could use aluminum to encourage a better material design, which can lead to a positive overall user experience.”

In addition to the new Jawbox design, Jabberbox Designs will be releasing a new Website and logo to better reflect product specifications. The company also intends to gain new investors through a Kickstarter.com campaign.

“We realize that we have a strong product, but new investors bring about great ideas, which can only make our product better,” Hankee said. “By working with others who share our goals of designing innovative solutions for Bluetooth® users, we can contribute positively to the technology industry.”

About Jabberbox Designs

Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Ind., Jabberbox Designs is the brainchild of co-founders Chad and Keli Hankee. Being long time users of Jawbone Bluetooth Headsets, the pair set out in search of a solid carrying case for bluetooth headsets. After scouring the marketplace, they came up short, only to find vinyl, zipper sided cases that were impractical in design, form and functionality. As a result, Jabberbox Designs and the Jawbox were born in 2011. After many 3D printing (stereolithography) prototypes, a lot of tweaks to design and lid functionality, Jabberbox Designs finally had a design freeze. Today, there are different high-end Bluetooth® headsets on the market, and Jabberbox Designs employeers plan to develop state-of-the-art cases for each of them, starting with the Bose Bluetooth® headset and the Motorola Bluetooth® headset.
