LeapFrog Partners With Mattel to Bring Popular Barbie(TM) Videos to Award-Winning Educational Entertainment Platforms
EMERYVILLE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. Videos will be available beginning November for purchase in the “Just for Fun” section of the LeapFrog App Center for the #1 kids’ learning tablets, LeapPad1(TM) and LeapPad2(TM), and best learning video game systems, Leapster Explorer(TM) and LeapsterGS(TM). Even more Barbie(TM) brand releases on the LeapFrog platform will be available in December and early 2013.

Videos including Barbie(TM) in A Mermaid Tale, Barbie(TM) The Princess and the Pauper, Barbie(TM) in The Nutcracker, Barbie(TM) in A Christmas Carol and Barbie(TM) in the 12 Dancing Princesses will be available in the LeapFrog App Center. These videos empower girls through popular and classic children’s storylines. Barbie(TM) in A Mermaid Tale takes children on an undersea odyssey adventure to help mermaid friends save the ocean kingdom, Barbie(TM) The Princess and the Pauper brings a fresh twist to a story time favorite and Barbie(TM) 12 in the Dancing Princesses tells the story of Princess Genevieve® and her sisters as they rescue the kingdom. In time for the holiday season, Barbie(TM) in A Nutcracker features Barbie(TM) in the lead role of Clara and Barbie(TM) in A Christmas Carol is a playful version on the Dickens classic.
The videos will join LeapFrog’s vast library of learning games, eBooks, videos, music and more that have been reviewed and approved by LeapFrog’s highly experienced team of educational experts.
