NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Education Innovation, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sibling Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB:SIBE), a developer of 21st century teaching and learning solutions for the education market, announced its support for the US Department of Education’s ‘National Education Technology Plan 2010′ to integrate new technologies into US classrooms.
Gerald F. Sullivan, the Chairman and CEO of Sibling Group Holdings, Inc. commented, “Being a developer and innovator of new digital age technologies for tomorrows classroom we are obviously very supportive of the US Department of Education’s stance on expanding and implementing these new technologies for the classroom. As more schools see the benefits on how the use of technology can expand the education opportunity for kids, increase their overall test performance, but also provide the next generation the skills needed to compete in tomorrow’s competitive work force.”
“With recent uncertainty from the election now lifted, the outlook for our industry looks to be in a more positive environment as the current administration pushes their National Education Technology Plan which lays out the frame work to integrating next generation technology to our K-12 classrooms. We now feel this may have a greater chance of being implemented as one of the few bipartisan bills both sides can get behind.”
US Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, had recently conducted a cross-country tour to promote a move towards ‘digital learning’ by implementing new advanced technologies for US classrooms under their National Education Technology Plan 2010.
