Quidsi’s Annual “Battle of the Brands” Black Friday Sale Is Back! Consumers Vote Nov. 13 to Save Big $$ on Favorite Brands
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – Quidsi, the e-commerce company making life easier for online shoppers, announced today its 2012 Battle of the Brands, an annual promotion giving consumers the power to choose which products will be discounted 30% this Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping season.
Starting Tuesday, November 13, consumers have one week to visit the Facebook pages for the seven Quidsi sites participating in Quidsi’s Battle of the Brands: Diapers.com, Soap.com, Wag.com, Vine.com, Yoyo.com, Casa.com, and Afterschool.com. Each site’s Facebook page will give consumers the opportunity to vote for their favorite products, pitted 1:1 against each other in a series of brand stand-offs. For example, Soap.com’s Facebook page will host Neutrogena v. Olay, Duracell v. Energizer, Method v. Mrs. Meyers Clean Day and Cover Girl v. Revlon, among others.
More than 100 brands will be competing across the seven sites. Fifty winning brands will be selected for 30% off discounts, effective the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 21) through Cyber Monday (November 26). Winners will be announced on November 21 as each site celebrates the winning brands and kick-offs of the sale.

All who vote in the Battle of the Brands through a Quidsi site Facebook page will be entered to win a family vacation on Carnival Cruise Lines. If a customer visits all seven Facebook pages to vote, they’ll have seven opportunities to enter to win the getaway.
