VoIP Communications Provider Recognized for Superior Technology that Enhances Customer Engagement and Training

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 14, 2012

Vocalocity, the fastest growing provider of voice over IP (VoIP) phone service for small- and medium-size businesses, announced today that it has won INTERNET TELEPHONY´s 2012 Product of the Year award for Call Monitoring. Vocalocity was honored with INTERNET TELEPHONY´s Product of the Year Award in 2011 for Vocalocity Desktop and in 2010 for development and use of proprietary technology.

INTERNET TELEPHONY annually recognizes the most innovative products by bestowing its esteemed Product of the Year Award to the most deserving companies. Magazine editors honor IP communications solutions that demonstrate vision, leadership and attention to detail.

“It is with pleasure that we recognize Vocalocity with a Product of the Year Award. The editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY have verified that its Call Monitoring displays quality and innovation while providing solutions to real business communications challenges,” stated Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “I would like to congratulate the team at Vocalocity for their commitment to advancing IP communication technologies.”

“We are dedicated to delivering the very best communication tools for our customers, and work diligently to develop innovative products to support their needs. It is exciting to be recognized for our delivery of these products for the third consecutive year with INTERNET TELEPHONY´s Product of the Year Award,” said Wain Kellum, CEO at Vocalocity. “Our Call Monitoring feature directly addresses our customers´ needs and helps to enhance their capabilities for client engagement and training while increasing productivity.”

Vocalocity´s Call Monitoring is an add-on feature that provides authorized users the ability to listen in on calls and speak directly to the host without other callers hearing. This means a manager or executive can silently observe a client call with a newer employee (monitor), assist the employee without anyone overhearing (whisper) or join the conversation as needed (barge). Secured with PIN numbers to ensure that only approved users can monitor calls, users have the option to notify attendees with a built-in legal announcement that the call may be recorded.

In addition to receiving INTERNET TELEPHONY´s Product of the Year award in 2012, 2011 and 2010, Vocalocity was also recognized on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 — recognizing the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. Vocalocity also earned a position for the second year in a row on the Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation´s fastest-growing private companies, and was recognized as a leading private company creating American jobs by Inc.´s inaugural Hire Power Awards.
