December 29, 2012

The stage of the third annual American Country Awards (ACAs) featured a set dominated by a giant star made out of decorative ceiling tiles provided by DecorativeCeilingTiles.net (DCT).

(PRWEB) December 28, 2012

Broadcast live on Fox Television from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, December 10, 2012, the ACA show was hosted by country star Trace Adkins and singing sensation Kristin Chenoweth, who is best known for having created the role of Galinda in the Broadway musical Wicked and is a recurring guest on Glee, the popular Fox TV musical comedy.

The big winners of the evening, newcomer Luke Bryan and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, gave their multiple acceptance speeches standing under the huge shining star created using dozens of stunning 2443 Fond du Lac Custom Tin Ceiling Tiles, which feature an intricate design of crosses, fleurs de lis, and other floral designs. Adding to the golden shine of the metal tiles were brilliant white and soft amber stage lights.

Photos and video clips of highlights of the winners’ acceptance speeches as well as performances by Adkins, Chenoweth, Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, American Idol finalist Scotty McCreary, and more can be viewed on the American Country Awards website: http://www.theacas.com/.

This is the second television broadcast this year that featured the use of decorative ceiling tiles as stage decor. This autumn, the set of the Emmy Awards broadcast also featured tiles from DCT.

Other creative non-ceiling uses for decorative tiles include photo backdrops and floors, as well as headboards for beds.

With headquarters in Florida and distributors and installers throughout the United States and select overseas locations, DecorativeCeilingTiles.net is the online leader in the sales of decorative ceiling tiles.
