Waggener Edstrom Worldwide Selects Level 3 to Improve Communications Across Three Continents
BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE: LVLT) today announced that Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, an international, integrated communications agency, has chosen a wide area network (WAN) solution from Level 3 to improve communications among its locations in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
As part of this Smart WAN Solution, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide is taking advantage of a network integrity feature, which simplifies monitoring of their global end-to-end network. Network integrity is part of Level 3′s Application Performance Management solution, which optimizes network and application performance, as well as increases visibility of network and application data. Being able to examine this data can help the customer speed troubleshooting and resolution of network issues.
“As we continue to scale to meet the growing global demands of our business, we need to maintain reliable, consistent high levels of performance,” said John Debarro, chief information officer at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. “Level 3′s network solution is helping us perform in-depth reporting and analysis, and is helping us make informed decisions about our increasing bandwidth needs and about improving application performance.”
Waggener Edstrom Worldwide is also using Level 3 voice and collaboration services to improve the efficiency of their communications.
“We understand that an international firm like Waggener Edstrom Worldwide needs to maintain day-to-day business and network efficiencies to be successful,” said Andrew Crouch, Level 3 regional president of North America. “A wide area network solution from Level 3 with end-to-end performance management and monitoring, plus collaboration services, is a smart strategy to help them improve the efficiency of their business interactions.”
