IPEVO Introduces their Wishpool Ed Tech Initiative; Teachers Can ‘Make a Wish’ for Technology in Their Classrooms

January 17, 2013

IPEVO’s new Wishpool program empowers teachers with education technology. Teachers can “make a wish” for IPEVO products to improve teaching and learning in the classroom.

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) January 17, 2013

Now teachers have a new way to receive free education technology for their classrooms: they can make a wish. IPEVO, a designer and maker of technology products for education and business, has developed a new initiative called Wishpool intended to enhance learning for more children through education technology. Qualifying teachers can share their stories on the Wishpool site and may be chosen to receive free IPEVO technology for their schools. Wishpool is now live at http://www.ipevo.com/wishpool.

“Wishpool is about empowering teachers who might be struggling under tighter and tighter budgets, more crowded classrooms, and other challenges the modern teacher faces,” said Royce Hong, CEO and big head of design of IPEVO. “We believe that both students and teachers can benefit tremendously from more technology in the classroom. Wishpool is a gathering place for teachers to share their stories, generate new ideas for implementing tech in the classroom, and ultimately impact students’ lives in positive ways.”

Wishpool accepts applications from teachers at registered primary or secondary schools – either public or private – located in the United States, Japan, Canada, or the member-states of the European Union. Teachers are encouraged to share their classroom stories in text and in pictures, and to “make a wish” concerning how IPEVO technology could enhance the education experience for their students. The IPEVO Wishpool team will post these “wish stories” to the Wishpool website in order to share them with other educators.

From there, the Wishpool team will determine whether or not approved wish stories can be fulfilled. If so, the teacher will be gifted one or more of the current month’s featured product giveaway for their schools. Teachers are encouraged to eventually share their new story of how the product or products have impacted teaching and learning in their classrooms.

“Wishpool is our way of giving back to the educational community which has demonstrated such remarkable support for us,” continued Mr. Hong. “When teachers make a wish about improving the education experience using technology, we’ll do our best to make that wish come true through Wishpool. We are eager to learn more about the teachers who work so hard to educate our youth.”

The IPEVO Wishpool team is now accepting teacher applications at the program’s web portal at http://www.ipevo.com/wishpool. There is no cost and no obligation to apply. Teachers may submit their wish stories at any time, as applications are accepted on a rolling basis with no deadlines.
