Bit Stew Systems, the developer of the game-changing smart grid analytics platform, Grid Director, announced today that it is expanding its operations in North America as a result of 400% year-over-year revenue growth and increasing market demands.

Bit Stew Systems, the developer of the game-changing smart grid analytics platform, Grid Director, announced today that it is expanding its operations in North America as a result of 400% year-over-year revenue growth and increasing market demands.

A major focus of this expansion has been to hire additional key management personnel in order to ramp up the business to meet the demands of current and future customers.

Joining the Bit Stew team in January are:

Philip Chan — Director, Product Engineering

Philip is leading the development of the Grid Director platform, working closely with our Chief Technology Officer. Philip has a successful track record in building and commercializing highly scalable enterprise and cloud-based applications.

Michael McGee — Director, Operations

Michael leads our Customer Solutions Center and operations ensuring that our customers get the most out of their investment in Grid Director. Michael has a deep background in operations, software, data analytics and big data.

Marc Jones — Director, Sales

Marc has extensive utility industry experience and brings a focus on solution selling to the company. He is primarily responsible for acquiring new customers in the Pacific Northwest and Central regions.

Mark Ortiz — Executive Consultant, Utility Solutions

Mark is a well-known and respected thought leader in the utility industry and the smart grid space. Mark is responsible for leading customer engagements, representing Bit Stew at industry events and with standards groups, and helping ensure our solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
