Children’s Education Funds Inc. Makes Education More Affordable for Canadian Parents and their Children

January 30, 2013

BURLINGTON, Ontario, Jan. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Since 1991 Children’s Education Funds Inc. (CEFI) has exclusively distributed the Children’s Education Trust Plans. CEFI has three wonderful Registered Education Savings Plans (RESP) to choose from with distinctive features and benefits that can be customized to your child’s needs. CEFI is an education funding specialist firm – education funding is all that they do.

The organization has been Parent Tested and received the Parent Approved Seal. The seal demonstrates that many parents believe in the product enough to recommend it to others.

Since CEFI operates all across Canada, from St. John’s to Victoria, CEFI wanted to create a RESP focused website. The new website, which can be found at www.cefi.ca is rich with everything pertaining to RESPs. Fortunately, the new website is live and ready for use by the Canadian public. The site covers the Government Grants, including the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG), Additional Canada Education Saving Grant (ACESG), the Canada Learning Bond (CLB), and the Provincial Grants, Alberta Centennial Education Savings (ACES) and the Quebec Education Savings Incentive (QESI). All of these Government Grants are available exclusively to RESP subscribers. Another interesting feature is that with the Children’s Education Trust Plans you can earn and redeem AIR MILES® reward miles. Aside from the grants and AIR MILES® reward miles, the Children’s Education Funds Inc. new website has an easy to use RESP calculator, embedded video, topical blog, and of course their contact information. The homepage even has a 100% commitment to service!

Why is the new CEFI website so important? Well, a recent Statistics Canada study has shown that the cost of post-secondary education, including tuition, school supplies, housing and other expenses amounts to $27,328 a year or nearly $95,312 for a four year program. Another Statistics Canada study found that between 1995 and 2005, the number of students graduating with debt loads of $25,000 plus rose from 17% to 27%. If you are a Parent, Grandparent, Uncle, Aunt, or planning to have a baby in the near future, now is the time to begin planning for your child’s post-secondary education. Start by going to www.cefi.ca and learn about the RESP options available.

Remember this, at CEFI they are education funding specialists – education funding is all that they do.
