Motorola Job Posting Appears To Confirm X-Phone

Rumors of a Motorola “X-Phone” were seemingly confirmed on Thursday after the company briefly posted a job opening on LinkedIn that referred to the new device by name.
The job listing, first spotted by Phandroid, sought a Senior Director of Product Management to help lead Motorola´s development for a “next generation smartphone platform.”
The link has since gone inactive, but remains posted at Motorola's official careers website -- minus any mention of the "X-phone."
“Motorola Mobility, owned by Google, is breaking through the barriers that separate people from the things they love," the listing reads.
"We're designing technology that connects seamlessly so consumers have the best content at their fingertips, every second of every day. TV, talk, text, email and web surfing - we're putting people at the center of it all. It's what we call a Motorola Powered future and we're making the devices that do more, so people can do more."
When asked to comment on the matter, Motorola did not deny it had posted a listing for the X-Phone position.
"We're busy inventing the future of mobile and are actively recruiting best-of-the-best talent across the board," spokeswoman Danielle McNally told CNET.
If the listing means what many suspect, then Motorola is likely in the early stages of developing the X-Phone, meaning a prototype could still be months away.
