transcosmos, Ryukyu Network Service and First Riding Technology Jointly Launch Client System Monitoring Service

transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; COO and President: Masataka Okuda; hereinafter “transcosmos”), Ryukyu Network Service K.K. (Headquarters: Okinawa, Japan; President: Yoshio Tokeshi; hereinafter “Ryukyu Network Service”) and First Riding Technology K.K. (Headquarters: Okinawa, Japan; President: Inekzau Uehara; hereinafter “FRT”) are jointly set to launch information systems monitoring services for corporations using FRTiDC.

FRT has so far has been providing simple systems monitoring services; however, since the earthquake, there has been a rapidly-increased number of business transactions for disaster recovery information systems design from areas outside of Okinawa. Accordingly, there has been an increasing demand for customizable, more advanced monitoring services.

The three companies have collected necessary resources to develop a new information systems monitoring services with FRT’s 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year operation systems, transcosmos’ know-how of the monitoring operations, and Ryukyu Network Services’ systems development capabilities.

With an ability to make immediate responses on-site in case of outage, the environment is designed so that the downtime for the information systems, which are imperative for corporate activities, is minimized as much as possible.

FRT utilizes its climatic and geographical advantage of having few earthquakes and being located 1,600 kilometers (794.19 miles) from the metropolitan area, so that the possibility of experiencing the disasters simultaneously is extremely low. FRT’s clients include governmental agencies, financial institutions, and manufacturers who use FRT’s services as a data back-up center. transcosmos makes use of its many years of experience to provide management monitoring operations at Okinawa MSP Center, a systems monitoring operations center founded in 2007. Ryukyu Network Services’ main businesses include software designs and development. Its experiences range from embedded systems development, solutions development, communications development, and ERP core systems/web applications development, to cloud model development, etc.

In the future, the three companies will continue to provide suggestions for the most appropriate infrastructure and management services for their clients’ needs.
