Level 3 Receives ISO/IEC 27001 Certification for its Data Center in Argentina
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Feb. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE: LVLT) today announced its subsidiary, Level 3 Argentina S.A., has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Certification for the Advanced Security Testing (AST) service in its data center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Certification is an internationally recognized standard that helps ensure the practice of adequate and proportionate security controls to safeguard customers’ information and intellectual property assets. Granted for a period of three years, the Certification was approved after two extensive audits conducted by TUV Rheinland, a provider of technical, safety and certification services.
