Wholesale Conference Announces New Web Portal Software

February 26, 2013

Updates Obsolete Spectel Bridge Software No Longer Supported by Acquirer Avaya

Santa Barbara, California (PRWEB) February 26, 2013

Wholesale Conference announced today the release of a new conference viewer and bridge control system called ConferenceView that updates obsolete Spectel Bridge software allowing for successful, affordable continued use of this conferencing bridge solution. Spectel, a conferencing bridge manufacturer was acquired by Avaya in 2004 but is no longer manufacturing or supporting the software. With many Spectel bridges in operation worldwide, Wholesale Conference saw an opportunity to fill the void.

ConferenceView is part of the company´s ConferenceFlow e-commerce software suite that fully automates the client experience yielding higher client satisfaction with lower staffing requirements. ConferenceFlow automates Spectel bridges as well as ThinkEngine and other conference bridge systems through API.

Conference providers need their bridge control software to work with all desktop and mobile web browsers, view participants in multiple rooms and bridges together, and provide a simple, unified interface that both operators and moderators can use together. In response, Wholesale Conference has built an improved, real-time, conference control and scheduling system with a backend “behind-the-scenes” chat system for operators. The software also includes real-time Q&A, ordering across multiple conferences, real-time bridge control (muting, voice, dial-out, etc.), and multi-bridge participant list merging/control. The ConferenceView system delivers all the functionality of the original Spectel solution faster and more efficiently with additional features in an easy-to-use web app format. The ConferenceView viewer and bridge control system, built for Spectel bridges, solves a number of problems that the stock conference viewer/controller was not designed to address. With ConferenceView, a Spectel bridge based Conference Service Provider (CSP) can use the same bridge resources for reservation-less and operator services conferences at the same time with less operator staff.

The updated software is accessible via any modern browser (including versions of Internet Explorer from 8 on up), and doesn’t require Java or Flash to be installed to operate. The solution is also accessible on mobile devices. ConferenceView is available for sale directly through Wholesale Conference at http://www.spectel-wholesaleconference.com or (805) 845-8906.
