SXSW is among the World’s Largest Showcase of Top Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Educators, Filmmakers and Musicians. “We are excited to be participating in SXSW along with BiT this year,” states ThoughtWorks CTO Rebecca Parsons. “We are passionate about promoting diversity in IT. The panel provides us a unique opportunity to discuss two topics that we are very passionate about: Africa and frugal innovation.”
BiT House was founded in 2010 in partnership with SXSW to address the lack of representation of African Americans in technology. BiT has since become one of the most highly anticipated segments during Interactive week and preeminent hub for honoring the achievements of Blacks in technology.
