Annese Executes on New Services-Led Strategy

Clifton Park, N.Y. (PRWEB) March 08, 2013

Annese & Associates, Inc. recently announced its new services-led corporate business model which concentrates around Data Center Virtualization and Collaboration practice areas. The company is pleased to announce the following personnel changes, effective immediately, to execute on this new strategy.

DATA CENTER VIRTUALIZATION PRACTICE

Tom Gdula (pictured right), former Virtualization Architect, was promoted to the position of Data Center Virtualization Practice Manager. Tom has been with Annese since 2012.

“In a very short time, Tom Gdula has demonstrated technical and organizational capabilities that are very relevant to our growing Data Center Virtualization Practice,” states Ray Apy, President & CEO. “So relevant in fact, that when he applied to the Data Center Virtualization Practice Manager position, we were sure he was the right fit.”

“Data Center Virtualization has proven to be the fastest growing new technology opportunity in our company history. This will be an exciting year for the DCV Practice that will see us hone our methodologies and enhance our skills through the power of an expanded team investing their experience and passion toward our overall success,” says Tom.

COLLABORATION PRACTICE

Michael Hurley, CCIE #27139, former Network Consultant, was promoted to the position of Collaboration Practice Manager. He has been with Annese since 2007.

“During Mike’s tenure at Annese, he has achieved the prestigious Cisco CCIE Voice certification, a coveted and rare achievement anywhere in the world,” notes Ray. “Despite the technical background and incredible engineering talent, Mike has continually demonstrated his people skills, organizational skills, and friendly approach to business. When he applied to the position of Collaboration Practice Manager, his track record with us made that decision very easy.”

“Annese has a strong hold on the VoIP market and maintains dominance through our expert knowledge and experience,” states Mike. “We plan to continue this trend, while building upon it, to meet new market demands. Video communication is here to last and Annese is positioned to be a key player in the market.”

To round out the new practice areas, internal and external engineering talent was procured. With training and certifications top of mind, Annese developed the Solution Architect role to handle pre-sales engagements for each practice, and coupled them with Systems Engineers to handle the post-sales support and implementation activities.

With a goal of developing sales and service support in each Annese territory, a few open positions are available. Visit: http://www.annese.com/careers.
