New York, NY (PRWEB) March 08, 2013
Today, Cheviot Hills, LLC announced the release of the Pavlov Dog Monitor (http://www.pavlovdogmonitor.com) at the Apple App Store. This one-of-a-kind dog-training tool is designed for pet owners that have busy and active lifestyles who are forced to leave their dogs at home.
The Pavlov Dog Monitor is available for download at the Apple App Store for a SPECIAL PRICE of $1.99 during the month of March, after which the price will be $4.99. With over 7 million animals entering shelters daily, Cheviot Hills, LLC sponsors a different animal shelter every month by donating a portion of the proceeds from each download to help dogs in need.
“Long workdays and evenings out often result in pets at home barking and suffering with separation anxiety problems. Anti-boredom toys, surveillance ℠Nanny Cams,´ and even shock collars have not produced the positive results we are looking for,” stated Phillip Angert, Owner/Inventor at Cheviot Hills, LLC. “The Pavlov Dog Monitor is a safe and interactive way for pet owners to train and monitor their pets´ behavior. Episodes of repeated barking, destructive activities, or intense behaviors are a thing of the past.”
In the application, the owner starts by setting up a series of custom videos for their dog with a short “Good Dog” and “Bad Dog” video message. Hosted by an in-game character known as Dr. Pavlov, the videos are loaded into the application and are utilized to help influence the pet´s behavior while at home alone. The custom-audio detector listens for the dog´s barking or quietness, and plays the appropriate video message from the owner. Within a few sessions, anxious pets begin to adjust to the correction videos: “Bad Dog, No Barking!” A period of quietness produces a treat: “Good Dog!” As the pet begins to understand the philosophy behind the application, additional greetings are introduced to the program.
The Pavlov Dog Monitor’s advanced code adjusts to your dog´s past and present behavior. With each use, the App gets more attuned to your pet´s unique needs. No need to do anything extra — Dr. Pavlov will create a custom session of bark and reward videos based on your dog´s past, present, and future behavior. These “Smart Settings” use intelligent designs that are specially tailored for your dog.
“The concept of this application is to use social media to develop a bond between the pet owner and the pet,” explained Angert, Inventor. “Within weeks, our beta testing showed a change in the pet´s behavior. In repeated use, our Border Terrier puppy went from a barking city dog with neighbors complaining all the time, to a calm puppy with a cured separation anxiety problem.”
Pet owners are able to monitor and review the analytics of their dog´s behavior at home with the Facebook Remote Monitor ($1.99 using an In-App Purchase). Detailed graphs and report cards can be reviewed from any smartphone or computer that has Facebook access, from anywhere in the world. In addition, users are able to monitor the progress remotely using other Apple iOS products.
The Pavlov Dog Monitor is available on the Apple App Store (http://www.appstore.com/pavlovdogmonitor) for the iPad only, running iOS 5.0 or higher.
