Council Rock School District Improves Performance and Security of District Desktop Clients

March 11, 2013

School district deploys Ziften to enhance performance and security of their IT infrastructure.

Austin, Texas / Newton, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) March 11, 2013

Ziften Technologies announced today that Council Rock School District (CRSD) has implemented Ziften’s software as a critical component of their IT infrastructure to improve performance and security of the clients.

CRSD is dedicated to creating an IT infrastructure that is transparent, secure, and performs optimally for its users and staff. Ziften was implemented after the school district had recently been threatened by a series of attacks on their desktop clients. CRSD needed the increased client visibility provided by Ziften in order to know what application processes were running on their clients. With the added level of visibility offered by Ziften, the district hopes to thwart future attacks by gaining detailed information about suspect processes and other security vulnerabilities. The IT staff at CRSD has been very impressed with the additional detailed insight Ziften provides about client performance and security issues.

“We chose Ziften because the product will help us improve the efficiency of our existing systems, extending their life; will give us better insight into what applications are being used and save us money on licensing; and also will help us understand when our systems might have been compromised,” said Matthew Frederickson, Director of IT for Council Rock School District. “Why wouldn´t we implement it as soon as possible?”

“We welcome Council Rock School District as our newest customer,” said Ziften CEO Charles Leaver. “Ziften is an ideal solution for customers like CRSD, that are looking for exceptional visibility and security into client applications. We are excited that we not only solved an immediate problem for them, but also that they will gain ongoing benefits in application performance, security and cost savings with Ziften.”

Ziften provides a robust solution for organizations like CRSD to effectively audit, analyze, and optimize enterprise clients while enhancing their existing IT management and monitoring solutions.
