3-GIS introduces new look
New visual identity unites all 3-GIS services and products
DECATUR, Ala., March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — 3-GIS will roll out a new visual identity, including an updated logo, over the next few weeks. It is the first significant visual identity change in 3-GIS’ history and follows the development and implementation of a master-brand strategy earlier in 2013.
“Our new visual identity allows us to better reflect our products,” said Tom Counts, 3-GIS president and CEO. “3-GIS is mapping the future of geospatial innovation and our new look captures that.”
The system employs a master-brand approach, with all products and services united under a single logo. 3-GIS has worked to bring the company’s range of offerings – from long-established products like 3-GIS Web (formerly Network Express) and 3-GIS Mobile (formerly Field Express Chameleon) to new services like 3-GIS Live – under one look and feel. The new visual identity will be rolled out in stages throughout the next quarter, including updates to 3-GIS software, upcoming major new product releases and in the first phase of the new 3-GIS.com website.
New videos, displays and materials will follow in 2013 and also carry the new logo and look.
Featuring a three-dimensional globe with a prominent forward-pointing arrow, the logo represents the expanding global reach of 3-GIS and its plans to map the future of the telecommunication, gas and electric utility industries. The logo was designed by Derek Prevatt, a Decatur, Alabama native.
“The 3-GIS brand has always represented smart, simple, easy to use, and affordable solutions in GIS and those are qualities that are important to us, to our partners and to our customers,” said Counts.
3-GIS is a global leading innovator of smart geospatial solutions and proud recipient of the 2011 Esri Partner’s Choice Award and the Esri Private Web Application Award. 3-GIS’ software for desktop and field use takes complex GIS information and makes it easy to understand and fast to access from every level of the enterprise.
