On April 5, Scott Brodsky, the founder of copier company Empire Digital Products, issues a statement announcing his donation and support for United Cerebral Palsy.
Scott Brodsky, the founder of Empire Digital Products, says cerebral palsy is a disorder that affects many people. “It affects muscle movements, usually in the legs, due to brain development before birth or a brain injury,” he says. “Most of the people with cerebral palsy, about 65 percent, also have other disabilities like down syndrome, autism, seizures and vision problems. I like to offer my support and time to charities like this to help create a better life for children with this disability.”
Some of the money from donations goes into supporting new technologies and programs that educate parents, Brodsky says, but most of it goes into services provided by UCF affiliates. “It´s a great charity that wants to make a difference and help people with disabilities live without limits,” Brodsky says. “These services include housing, therapy, early intervention, family support, employment assistance and other forms of care.”
United Cerebral Palsy (UCF) was founded over 60 years ago with the intention of helping children with cerebral palsy. The organization educates, advocates and provides support services to children with the disability. It´s one of the largest health charities in the country that´s dedicated to civil rights protections and public policy that helps people with disabilities live normal lives.
Empire Digital Products is currently one of the most well respected copier dealerships in New York. Their dual focus is on reducing overhead and enhancing document workflow. With the best service department in the industry and a very capable staff it is no wonder Empire has met with such success.
