Englewood, CO (PRWEB) April 18, 2013

Statêra, “We Make Cloud and IT Services Easy,” http://www.Statera.com, participated in constructing a house for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver on Saturday, April 13th. Statêra´s team of seven volunteers helped to build the initial walls of a Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver residence at 45th Avenue and Sherman streets in Denver, CO. A Habitat construction supervisor provided task lists and instructions on how to efficiently complete these in a logical, fun and safe manner.

“I felt as if I was able to contribute in a meaningful way,” said Katie Kish, Consultant, Statêra. “It was physically demanding, not easy, but strength of spirit always wins over strength of body, so they have a life-long volunteer in me,” Katie continued.

“It was really exciting to be involved in the early process of house building,” added Desiree Robinson, Consultant, Statêra. “It was also nice to hear who we would be helping, both the home buyer and the community,” continued Desiree.

“I was worried that I wasn’t going to be strong enough or have the right skill sets; However, volunteering with my co-workers on the Habitat for Humanity house was incredibility rewarding and not at all something I should have been nervous about,” said Erin Sundet, consultant, Statêra. “It was a hard day, but it was so much fun to spend time with amazing co-workers and build something wonderful together,” Erin continued.

“It was very rewarding for me to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity,” said Diana Minnehan, office manager, Statêra. “I would definitely recommend it, a great team building experience!” Diana concluded.

“We are so pleased to give back to our community in Denver, and we encourage our employees to participate in local charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity,” added Carl Fitch, CEO, Statêra.
