Local Clicks To Bricks Offers New Bundled Social Programs After Review Of Social Media Disaster

April 27, 2013

Local Click to Bricks is a marketing company that is offering a new bundled solution to business owners who want more social presence to attract new customers.

Brandon, Fl (PRWEB) April 27, 2013

Local Clicks To Bricks recently saw what he calls the “disastrous affects of the uneducated marketer selling something to the uneducated business owner.”

He´s referring to the onslaught of social media seminars, webinars, and workshops that taught people how to do social media sites for their business propositions.

Don Fawcett, CEO of Local Clicks to Bricks commented, “It´s a disaster. Many business owners simply do not have the time or the talent to keep up with these pages, and most of them never really understood the idea of posting something other than their advertising message. Many businesses have abandoned their pages altogether and now believe social media isn´t for them.”

Facebook says it has 15 million pages, but only 300,000 pages used Facebook ads. The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/26/business/smallbusiness/small-businesses-win-customers-on-facebook.html?_r=0), reported the increase of small retailers are opening storefronts on Facebook Pages last year.

In contrast, a report published in the Wall Street Journal (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323346304578427052911177678.html) says the search engine giant Yahoo is reporting ad revenue losses.

Don Fawcett commented, “What´s happening is the cost of clicks in search engines are going up and the social sites like Facebook are starting to ad more local businesses since they´ve improved their ad platform. I see a shift coming in how people will access information. You´ll start to see more social sites offering search functions, especially on a local level.”

Facebook is entering the next phase of its small business education program which was launched in 2011. The social giant recently reported (https://www.facebook.com/notes/facebook-marketing/sharing-new-data-and-stories-about-us-small-businesses-on-facebook/10151331477532217 ) more than 2 billion connections between local businesses and people.

The article also stated that in an average week, there are over 645 million views, and 13 million comments on local business Facebook Pages. Approximately 70% of monthly active users in the U.S. and Canada are connected to a local business on Facebook.

Don Fawcett added, “Our Local Clicks to Bricks team reviewed the top social sites that businesses should be involved in, and Facebook is at the top of the list. There´s a right way and a wrong way to engage and attract new customers with social media. Unfortunately a few years ago, many small businesses bought into bad advice on how to do it. What we´re doing is going in and salvaging these Facebook Pages created by their owners and cleaning them up and using them to engage new customers for the business. We´ve also bundled together some other social sites that we believe we´ll be important in the next few years, but it´s up to the business owner what they want us to do.”
