Devolutions Launches Small Business Edition of Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS)

April 27, 2013

The new, lower-priced Small Business Edition of Devolutions´ Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS) includes all of the features found in the standard edition, but is designed for IT teams of 10 or fewer users. A 30-day trial of RDMS is available from remotedesktopmanagerserver.com.

Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) April 27, 2013

Devolutions, a Canadian-based enterprise software firm with a suite of time and cost-saving products that are trusted by more than 200,000 users in over 85 countries, has launched a new, lower-priced Small Business Edition of its Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS) that is designed for IT teams of 10 or fewer users.

RDMS, which is a self-hosted repository for Devolutions´ flagship product Remote Desktop Manager (RDM), allows users to store and share remote connection settings, virtual machine connections and any other sensitive data in an enterprise-wide high-end security data store that can be deployed online or internally. RDMS also features:

  •     Shared sessions with multiple users
  •     Support for Windows authentication and Active Directory group management
  •     Client and server side caching optimization
  •     Can be deployed online or internally
  •     100% compatibility with the SQL Server data source
  •     Includes Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise client (Global license)

The new Small Business Edition of RDMS features all of the above, but is offered at a lower price point since it allows up to 10 user accounts vs. unlimited accounts with the standard edition. Users can be located anywhere in the world, and do not have to be working in the same office.

“It was only a few weeks ago that we celebrated RDMS´ 1-year anniversary by launching the enhanced and improved version 2.0,” commented Devolutions´ CEO and founder David Hervieux. “And while RDMS has been very well received by IT teams around the world, we received feedback from small and mid-sized users who didn´t need unlimited accounts, and wanted us to release something that would fit within their budgets. That was the motivation to create the Small Business Edition of RDMS. We´re always listening to our community, and we base our product development around their needs and goals.”

IT pros and teams can download a 30-day trial of RDMS from http://remotedesktopmanagerserver.com.

An RDM Enterprise client is required to access the Server platform, and a 30-day trial is available from http://remotedesktopmanager.com.
