Yumi Media responds to an article on US Veg Week and offers support and advice for those who want to cut back on meat.

On April 30, 2013, Yumi Media responded to an Ecorazzi.com article on the fourth annual US Veg Week and the recent decrease in meat consumption in the United States.
US Veg Week was founded by non-profit Compassion Over Killing in 2009. It encourages people to take a pledge and cut meat out of their diet for seven days. Their slogan is “There are 52 weeks in a year. Why not make one of them meat-free?”
The article also cites a US Department of Agriculture survey that shows meat consumption has dropped 12% since 2007.

US Veg Week also has the support of many celebrities, like NBA Player and vegetarian John Sally, according to the article´s writer, Allyson Koener.
