Procura announced today that their recently launched Hospice Solution, Procura for Hospice, will be installed at Upper Peninsula Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty. Established in 1973 and based in Marquette, Michigan, Upper Peninsula was the first provider of Hospice Philosophical Care in the state, and one of the original three to operate in the United States. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is sometimes called the “Cradle of the Hospice Movement” in the USA because of the establishment of more Hospice Programs per capita than anywhere else in the country.

Procura for Hospice is a comprehensive IT system designed to support the delivery of care for hospice patients and their families from initial referral and intake through the bereavement process. Developed to manage multiple levels of care in diverse settings, the solution helps improve the services delivered while recognizing the workflows of the hospice nurse and the interdisciplinary care team.
