RedSky E911 Anywhere® Now Available in Canada
Cloud-based 9-1-1 call routing service now protects employees, visitors, students located anywhere in Canada as well as in the United States
CHICAGO, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — RedSky Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of on-premise and cloud-based E911 solutions, today announced its cloud-based E911 Anywhere® can now help organizations route 9-1-1 emergency calls to the proper public safety answering point (PSAP) anywhere in Canada as well as in the United States.
This latest enhancement benefits Canadian organizations as well as those with operations in both the U.S.A. and Canada. Many enterprises with cross-border operations consolidate calls into a datacenter located in one country. Now, these customers can send all 9-1-1 calls from their datacenter to E911 Anywhere® regardless of their point of origin. The cloud-based service will then route the emergency call to the proper PSAP based on the location of the caller.

Regardless of delivery channel, these alerts notify on-site responders and administration of a 9-1-1 call in progress and include the location of the caller in need.
