Aspire Giving, Inc. Awards Grant to Warrior Gateway for G.I. Network

May 9, 2013

Aspire Giving Foundation grants Warrior Gateway funds to expand their key initiative, the G.I. Network, to over 400,000 government and nonprofit resources supporting the military community — a 100% increase to what is already the largest veteran resource exchange.

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) May 08, 2013

Generous support from Aspire Giving is catapulting Warrior Gateway to an impressive level of service as the scope of their key initiative, the G.I. Network, enters a realm uncharted by any military based nonprofit. The G.I. Network, the largest veteran resource information exchange, is a network of over 200,000 non-profit and government programs in all 50 states.

Aspire Giving, founded by Warrior Gateway board member and Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital, Anthony Scaramucci, supports organizations that are “turning ground-breaking intentions and out-come driven goals into sustainable models with tangible results.” This focused support on sustainable innovation is empowering Warrior Gateway to tackle the impressive task of doubling the size of the G.I. Network in the next 18 months.

“I have great respect for the veterans that have served our nation and am confident that Warrior Gateway´s vision and efforts will result in greater support for the deserving military community,” said Mr. Scaramucci.

Warrior Gateway is also working on upgrading the G.I. Network´s rate and review capability to help users make better-informed decisions based on peer feedback of service providers. This capability will also provide feedback and insights to those organizations about how they are doing in the eyes of their customers and what they need to improve.

“We are thrilled the financial community is coming together to support the military community and the work of our organization,” said Warrior Gateway´s Chief Executive Officer, Devin B. Holmes. “Aspire´s generous support will help Warrior Gateway continue to expand our work to continuously improve the G.I. Network.”

Warrior Gateway´s vision is to harness the goodwill of the hundreds of thousands of organizations serving the military community to create an easily accessible network of support organizations for veterans and their families in their local communities. Warrior Gateway´s goal is to ensure that by creating more access to the G.I. Network, when veterans, servicemen and women and their families ask the question “Where do I go for help?” they will get a consistent and reliable answer.
