Jules Trono, President & CEO of Compass Business Solutions, will participate in VCI Group´s monthly online session, VCI Live! on Thursday May 16, 2013 at 1:00pm ET. This month’s session is “Integrating Desktop Video Into Your Organization”.
Jules will join other industry professionals, Indika McCampbell of Kansas Research and Education Network, Mark Noble of Vidyo, and JD Vaughn, former talk show host and industry veteran, to discuss the deployment and use of desktop video within various organizations. These panelists will share their perspectives on the considerations that need to be addressed before deploying desktop video in an organization. They will share lessons learned from their experience with desktop video deployments, which aspects of their implementation worked well and which didn’t, and how desktop interaction with existing room video systems is working.
“Managing the deployment of technology within an organization is challenging,” stated Jules Trono, President of Compass. “The often forgotten step is rolling out the technology to users in a way that helps them understand how the technology will make their life better. It´s all about communicating new user applications in a best practices approach that incorporates the organization´s business processes.” Compass is the largest provider of telepresence and videoconferencing training in the US and also offers private training sessions globally.
Compass is offering a follow-up session regarding how to configure Cisco, Polycom or Vidyo desktop video solutions. The session is being offered at a reduced rate to support VCI Group, with VCI members getting an even greater discount.
