Kickstarter Project Transitions from Touchscreen Stylus to Ballpoint Pen with One Klick

May 15, 2013

The Klick Stylus Pen allows users to transition seamlessly from digital to analog with a single “Klick”, providing a smooth ballpoint pen tip for writing on paper, which then retracts directly through the capacitive stylus tip for resuming touchscreen use.

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) May 15, 2013

Morrison Innovations, a Rochester firm comprised of a husband and wife team, has launched a growing project on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter, called the Klick Stylus Pen.

The Klick Stylus Pen transitions from a small and responsive 5mm capacitive stylus tip to a ballpoint pen with just one Klick.

There are a number of stylus and ballpoint pen combinations available on the market, most of which cost over $30 each in retail stores, however none of them allow for such an easy transition from analog to digital use.

The project has already raised over $2,400 and still has 22 days remaining to meet their $15,000 goal. Backers who pledge over $15 will receive at least one Klick Stylus Pen in one of three available colors.

There are higher value rewards offered comprised of a 2-pack, 3-pack, 12-pack and larger custom printed quantities of Klick Stylus Pens. A couple of the rewards include functioning prototypes of the pen that will be mailed to backers who select that option immediately after the project is funded, others will have to wait for the first bulk production run to receive theirs in mid-late July.

In a growing world of touchscreen devices, accessories like the Klick Stylus Pen will no-doubt become a common product in the marketplace and in our homes. With a retail price tag of under $20, if and when the project is funded, the Klick Stylus Pen will be at the top of most shoppers lists for gifts, giveaways and personal use.

Robert Morrison, Owner of Morrison Innovations states, “We wanted to offer an affordable and practical solution to both the analog and digital worlds without having to add two more things to our bags.” He continued, “The Klick Stylus Pen solves the need to quickly transition from touchscreen to paper use in just one Klick.”

You can contribute to the Klick Stylus Pen project by visiting the Kickstarter Page and making a pledge in exchange for one of the many rewards available.
