The Riveer Total Aircraft Washing System (TAWS®) is being deployed to a growing number of air stations and field ops as both military and commercial aviation mounts a growing battle against corrosion on fixed wing and rotary aircraft.

A self-contained hot water wash and rinse system, TAWS produces high flow rates that reduce cleaning time by washing large wing and fuselage surfaces efficiently and effectively. TAWS can spray five gallons of 140-degree water per minute from each spray gun, applying a safe-for-aircraft 175 PSI. This PSI reaches exposed hinges, actuators, gear bays and other corrosion-prone areas. TAWS´ superior design has won Riveer competitive contracts for washing system equipment from both the US Army and US Air Force.

One of the most advanced capabilities of the TAWS is its turbine engine flush technology. TAWS can deliver the low-pressure and low-flow stream required to clean sensitive turbine blades without damage. TAWS cleans engines effectively by delivering gas path cleaner from its on-board tank, and rinse water spayed directly into the compressor and exhaust section of an aircraft´s engine. Reels, fittings, air hoses and flush hoses are available for cleaning a wide variety of turbine engines.

Despite its complex capabilities, TAWS is simple to operate and maintain. The system is easily towed by HMMV, TUG, or other common AGE, and its Kevlar® reinforced tires resist tears and punctures.
