Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) June 02, 2013

Console Vault, a Las Vegas-based company specializing in unique security solutions for homes and automobiles, has released a new secret wall safe designed to look like an everyday fuse box. The covert design of the secret wall safe, called the Red Herring, enables owners to more securely and freely hide their valuables in their home or office.

“We wanted to add a number of additional levels of security for our clients looking for a wall safe” says Tom Duengel, President and Founder of Console Vault. “The simple design of a fuse box enables owners to freely install their secret wall safe where they see fit and without compromise to security.”

In addition to its appearance as a typical fuse box, the Red Herring also features a combo lock, displayed once the front panel is opened. “We decided to take things even further than its deceptive design and typical combo lock,” said Duengel, “by including a secret secondary latching system to open the secret wall safe.”

Like all Console Vault products, the Red Herring wall safe is manufactured in the United States. The Red Herring’s door features drill-resistant 12 gauge cold-rolled plate steel, and the interior features walls made of an impressive 16 gauge plate steel. The wall safe requires no batteries or a power source of any kind, and the safe includes a built-in gun holster.

Installation of the Red Herring is incredibly simple, as the wall safe was designed to fit into industry-standard 16” centered wall studs. “As with all of our products, installation is incredibly easy and straightforward,” said Duengel. For most owners, installation takes around fifteen minutes.

“We’re incredibly proud of the Red Herring,” said Duengel. “We’ve taken innovation to a whole new level with this wall safe, equipping our customers with a wall safe that combines an incredibly unique design with the finest in construction and American ingenuity.”
