Zenergy Works – on behalf of GA Driver Safety – Announces How Online Driving School Students Benefit from Joshua´s Law

Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2013

GA Driver Safety has a quick and easy solution for Georgia Teen Drivers and Parents who need to comply with Joshua´s Law.

Joshua´s Law was a result of a lobby for tougher drivers´ education processes to be placed into effect after the tragic auto accident that caused the death of Joshua Brown in 2003. Joshua´s Law that requires all Georgia teen drivers to meet specific requirements to obtain a Class D drivers´ license, effective January 1, 2007.

Under Joshua´s Law, teen drivers are required to do the following in order to earn their Class D license at age 16:

•    They must complete a driver education course approved by the Department of Driver Services.

•    They must also complete a cumulative total of at least forty (40) hours of other supervised driving experience, including at least six (6) hours at night.

Though these requirements appear more strict, they make for safer teen driving. Joshua´s Law has benefited online driving school students because it improves their driving skills, their knowledge of traffic laws, and promotes confidence when faced with split-second driving decisions.

Once a teen driver turns 18 years of age, the young adult qualifies for a Class C license. Class C licenses are granted to drivers ages 18 years and older who have a class D license, and have no major traffic convictions during the previous 12 months.
