KANETIX Lists the Top Safety Vehicles for 2013

June 7, 2013

Comprehensive list features everything from minicars to near luxury vehicles says KANETIX.

Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) June 07, 2013

For many consumers their top concern when shopping around for a car, is not whether how reliable it is or how much it costs to pay in auto insurance — it is a matter of safety says KANETIX. Many consumers are focusing strictly on a vehicles safety rating rather than resale value.

For drivers shopping for safety above anything else, the following is a recap of the results of the annual Top Safety Pick awards, released by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS).

The following are the winners from the past five years; well-known as some of the safest cars out there. If consumers are thinking of buying a new car, or a used vehicle, the following lists might help with the decision making. Also consumers are encouraged to comparison shop for car insurance quotes for any of the Top Safety Pick award winning vehicles at KANETIX. At KANETIX customers can compare quotes before making a final decision to purchase a vehicle or not.

KANETIX also reminds drivers who prefer to drive older vehicles to check out the IIHS website for older model year winners.

The most recent Top Safety Pick awards: 2013 models

Released at the end of each year, this is the current list of winners. The Top Safety Pick award recognizes vehicles that, according to IIHS, protect drivers and passengers in a variety of tests including front, side, rollover and rear crashes:
