LEID Products will showcase its iLibrary System and highlight achievements in expansion and popularity of the product in Booth #424.

The iLibrary System is a cost effective solution that provides library services without the cost and burden of traditional brick and mortar library locations or book mobiles. The iLibrary System includes a kiosk that interfaces with LEID’s Electronic Modular Access Units to offer a complete ‘mini’ library solution. Sometimes referred to as a ‘Library Express’, the iLibrary System provides communities with complete self-service access to library materials and can be placed at the location of the library for extended hours, or at other locations including community centers, retirement communities, commuter stations or malls for the convenience of library patrons.
In May of 2013, Livermore Public Library in California installed LEID Products’ Access.it electronic lockers as part of its self-service “Easy Access Library.” Prior to the community’s use of the electronic lockers, its Springtown Branch Library was only open and staffed for eight hours on Tuesdays. With the introduction of LEID Products, the branch is now truly a full service library – patrons can access items seven days a week through secure key card access. Moreover, patrons can place items on hold through the Library’s online catalog and have them delivered to the ‘Easy Access Lockers’ to pick up at their convenience.
