Advanced Internet Technologies partners with American Red Cross to provide health and safety training, education and disaster preparation resources.

Fayetteville, NC (PRWEB) June 25, 2013

Advanced Internet Technologies, Inc. (AIT.com), a Fayetteville, North Carolina web hosting and technology company, announced this week that they have partnered with the American Red Cross. AIT is currently raising money to help the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund for every domain registration and domain renewal. In addition, AIT is working with the local Highlands Chapter of Fayetteville, NC and will host several upcoming Red Cross education and training events. The American Red Cross is governed by volunteers and supported by community donations, income from health and safety training and products, and income from blood products. The American Red Cross is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

"I have witnessed the Red Cross firsthand on the battlefield during combat operations from Central American to the Middle East as well as in the Fayetteville community during the tornado that hit us in April 2011. I am committed to supporting the American Red Cross in their mission of educating, serving and supporting the American public. I am honored and humbled that AIT is a business the American Red Cross can count as a partner,” said Chief Executive Officer, Clarence Briggs. “This partnership is a perfect example of how a private sector company can work with an exemplary non-profit organization to benefit our communities at the local, state and national levels.”

"The American Red Cross works 24 hours a day to provide life-saving services down the street, across the country and around the world. We are excited to partner with AIT, a veteran owned company that has a global reach and continues to support the local community on so many levels. The start of Hurricane Season began June 1, so the disaster preparedness information and educational classes AIT’s support will provide are needed now more than ever.”, said Victoria Raleigh, Executive Director of American Red Cross Highlands Chapter in Fayetteville, NC. AIT and the American Red Cross anticipate future announcements of upcoming events.
