G-Cube Solutions announced its win of the LearnX Impact Award in the category of Best Learning Program – Environmental. The annual LearnX Impact Awards recognizes innovative and path-breaking achievements in the area of eLearning and organizational training.

G-Cube showcased an eLearning course on ‘Transportation CO2 Emissions’ built for one of the largest global energy management specialists – Schneider Electric. With the growing focus on the ill-effects of pollution and the ever-increasing carbon footprint, organizations across the world are becoming more and more conscious of exploring ways to save our environment. Schneider Electric takes its role in minimizing CO2 emission seriously and works towards sustaining its efforts in preventing environmental pollution. CO2 emissions have been linked directly to the Logistics and Transportation activity, and the organization wanted to make their employees aware of the ways of minimizing it.

The course was built with the learning objective of educating the employees of Schneider Electric on the harmful environmental effects of greenhouse gas emissions and the role of Transportation in CO2 emissions. It also aimed at familiarizing employees about Schneider Electric’s external and internal commitments to CO2 reductions and the company’s goal of reducing their energy consumption by 10% and gaining 10% CO2 savings on Transportation by the year 2014.

Manish Gupta, CEO of G-Cube said, “Environmental issues are of prime importance in our world of overwhelming technological and industrial advancements. It is heartening to witness the effects of impactful technology-aided learning that helps to impress upon the mindset of people across an organization and encourages them to work proactively for our environment.”
