LeadiD Debuts Industry’s Only TCPA App Capable of Mitigating TCPA and TSR Compliance Risk without Sacrificing Operational Efficiency
LeadiD releases industry first TCPA software app providing definitive closed-loop compliance along with real-time sales and marketing efficiencies. Know before you dial, in real-time, every time.
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) July 02, 2013
LeadiD, the first 100% neutral, privacy-friendly, trusted arbiter of media transactions, today unveiled the LeadiD TCPA software app, providing organizations a way to obtain and demonstrate definitive confirmation that the proper TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) disclosures were present during the lead event and that the consumer did in fact provide express consent. Not only does LeadiD’s TCPA app provide access to authoritative consent records essential for legal compliance, but it allows lead buyers to confirm, in real-time, that consent was provided prior to dialing the lead. The LeadiD TCPA app is the first truly scalable TCPA app because it doesn’t require disruption of dialer operations with manual screen shot review, thereby preserving an organization’s speed-to-contact advantages. With the LeadiD TCPA app, a lead buyer can be confident that only consumers who provided appropriate consent are being dialed.
- Provides definitive confirmation that the proper TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) disclosures were present and conspicuous during the lead event
- Enables dialer operations to continue uninterrupted by manual screenshot review
- First scalable option available today for Mortgage, Short Term Loan, Insurance, Education & other industries impacted by upcoming Oct 2013 TCPA Rule Changes
“With new rules in effect this October, it is more important than ever for lead buyers to be able to know definitively if an acceptable disclosure was present on the lead form, and also document whether or not the consumer provided express consent to be contacted by the lead buyer,” said Ross Shanken, LeadiD CEO. “Access to authoritative consent records will be essential for legal compliance. The LeadiD TCPA app provides the capacity to make decisions in real-time before you make the wrong call, as well as documented proof if you receive a consumer complaint.”
Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”)
In October of this year, significant changes to the Federal Communications Commission’s (“FCC”) rule implementing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) will go into effect, bringing the issue of valid consumer consent to the forefront of the minds of regulators and class action attorneys alike. The new changes will require prior express written consent for all autodialed and pre-recorded telemarketing calls, as well as for text messages sent to mobile phones. The FCC’s rule will also require prior express written consent for all pre-recorded telemarketing calls placed to land lines. The FCC has made it clear that the caller bears the burden of proving consent. More information on the new TCPA rules can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/FCC-TCPA-Oct
To prevent TCPA and Telephone Sales Rule (“TSR”) violations, lead buyers could sacrifice operational efficiency and manually dial calls to wireless phone numbers. Lead buyers could also spend time reviewing screen shots of the web form to confirm that the disclosure was present. Not only is this operationally inefficient, but it is also unrealistic to expect that this could be done effectively and consistently and at scale prior to the consumer being dialed. Manual review essentially sacrifices any potential conversion gains from rapid speed-to-contact, making it even more difficult for organizations to meet sales goals. Speed-to-call is the single largest driver of lead conversion, according to Velocify research, with calls made in under a minute increasing conversion rate by 391 percent. So the negative impact of manual screen shot review can be substantial.
The beta version of the LeadiD TCPA app is available for immediate installation from the LeadiD Marketplace. During the beta, the LeadiD TCPA app is available at no cost.
